| | Sat 15 Jun 11:00am | | | Norwich Peace Camp and Peace Cycle
at the St Peter Mancroft Octagon on Hay Hill
We hope you and your group will be able to take part in the Peace Camp on 15th June. We are grateful to St. Peter Mancroft Church for hosting it in their Octagon this year.
Groups can set up stalls from 10.30am, and we will start at 11am with a welcoming circle. Groups will then be invited to speak for up to 5 minutes each about themselves and their work.
There will be a Climate Cafe talking space, as well as Refreshments, Children’s activities, a Rolling Poem, which will be read at the end of the afternoon, and any other attractions that the groups organise. The Peace Cycle will depart at 12 noon to ride round the City and return about 12.45pm.
St. Peter Mancroft is generously giving us the space at no charge, but we feel we should make a donation to them, as well as holding a small amount of money towards future events. So stall holders are asked to contribute £10 each, and donations will be invited for refreshments. This will be used for expenses of the day and the donation to St Peter Mancroft.
If your group would like to join the June Peace Camp please email joyful.croft@gmail.com for booking and payment details. |
