Weybourne churches appoint Priest-in-Charge

Reverend Frank Clarke has been Licensed and Installed as Interim Priest-in-Charge of the Weybourne Group of Parishes Following the retirement of Father Phil Blamire.

The installation was carried out by the Bishop of Lynn, the Right Reverend Jonathan Meyrick, and the Archdeacon of Lynn, the Venerable Ian Bentley, at a special service at All Saints Church, Weybourne on Thursday January 23, at which members of the Reverend Frank's family and the congregation were present, together with clergy colleagues.

The part-time appointment provides cover whilst the diocese and the parishes discuss a permanent replacement for Father Blamire.

The United Benefice of the Weybourne Group was formed in 1989 and comprises six parishes with a combined population of 1500: Bodham, East with West Beckham, Kelling, Salthouse, Upper Sheringham and Weybourne. They continue to seek a vision of what God wants for the area in their commitment to growth in discipleship, in service and numbers.
