Virtual Celebrate Norfolk showcase is launched
Celebrate Norfolk has launched a virtual showcase of more than a dozen local Christian organisations and churches after the one-day event at The Forum in Norwich in June was cancelled due to the Covid-19 public health restrictions.
The showcase will remain online for a full 12 months and is also contained in a special Good News for Norwich & Norfolk newspaper edition available in churches from this weekend and inside the Norwich Evening News on Tuesday May 4.
You can read about Community Chaplaincy Norfolk, St Stephen’s Church, Norwich FGB, Norwich Healing Rooms, the Good News Stand, Grace Christian Fellowship, World Outreach, the House of Genesis, OMF (UK), Grace Communion International, Pathway Great Yarmouth, Norfolk Healing Rooms and Norwich Community Gospel Choir.
Celebrate chair of trustees, Keith Morris, said; “Over the last decade, Celebrate Norfolk has showcased the different expressions of the local Christian community and positively communicating its activities, events, vision and unity.
“We did not want the Covid-19 restrictions to prevent us doing this once again this year. We were very keen to continue to bring the diverse local Christian community together in unity and give them a platform on which to show what they are doing.
“The online exhibition will run for a whole year, not just one day in June, so exhibitors will also be able to reach a much bigger audience that they might have otherwise.”
You can visit the online exhibition here.
You can download the newspaper here.
If you would like your church or organisation to be added to the online exhibition, please email Keith at firstname.lastname@example.org who can tell you how to go about it and the modest cost.
