Cathedral to host Care for Children summer fete

A Care for Children summer fete will include everything from burgers to Afro-Caribbean food, goats-milk ice creams to cappuccinos, face painters, morris dancers, alpacas, and a climbing wall.

The fete is taking place on Saturday August 27 in the grounds of Norwich Cathedral, and entry is free.

Care for Children is a Norwich-based international charity which has a vision to see ‘a world of children in families’. There are 8 million children living in orphanages globally. These are some of the most vulnerable children in the world. By working with governments on child welfare reform, Care for Children ensures children in orphanages can be placed into local families, where they have the opportunity to grow up in a safe home, surrounded by a loving family.

At the Summer Fete there will be over 20 craft stall holders selling their wears, as well as activities.

Sponsored by Hollinger Print and Huxley Events, the fete will start at 11am and finish at 3pm and promises to be a great day out for all the family. Everyone welcome!
