King's Lynn church to stage free music festival in town

A King’s Lynn church is set to stage a free festival of music in the town’s main park and is inviting other churches to join it at the event this summer.

The King’s Glory Church is planning Manifest - a day filled with powerful performances, uplifting messages, and unforgettable memories in The Walks in Lynn on Saturday July 22. The event will replace Celebrate King’s Lynn this summer.

Church pastor, Ola Adegoke, said: “Manifest music festival brings together talented and passionate musicians from all around the world to promote the positive message of the gospel to our community.  It will feature a wide range of musical styles from contemporary to non-contemporary gospel songs and everything in between.

“With an incredible lineup of talented musicians and speakers, this festival is the perfect opportunity for all to enjoy great music and explore your spiritual side. Not only will you enjoy amazing music, but you will also have the opportunity to have wholesome family fun with summer activities.

“We hope the performances will inspire, encourage, and connect people to the message of the good news. The event is designed specifically with non-Christians in mind, so they can feel comfortable and welcomed no matter what their background is. We believe that music has the power to bring people together and create a positive, uplifting atmosphere, and that's exactly what we strive to do at Manifest Festival,” said Ola.

”We would like other churches in King's Lynn to showcase their churches and set up stalls just like they did at Celebrate,” said Ola. “So if you're ready to experience the power of Christ through music and explore your faith in a fun and engaging way, come join us at Manifest. We can't wait to see you there!”
