Ormesby event to ignite Christian vision for men

Christian Vision for Men will be holding an event for men to to be encouraged and learn how to set up a men’s group.

Nathan Blackaby, CEO of Christian Vision for Men will be at the event which will be held on Thursday January 25 at St Michael's Church in Ormesby (near Great Yarmouth). It is open to men from any church and is an opportunity to be encouraged and to learn about setting up men's group in their church / area.

The evening is being organised by Matthew Hodder, who is a lay leader in the Flegg Parish. He describes the moment he became motivated to get involved in men’s ministry: “I looked around on a Sunday I realised there were few men in the congregation and then I realised that God had lit a flame of mission in me, to reach out to men, on the edge of and outside of the Church.”

Matthew has gone on to set up a local men’s group and hopes to inspire others to do the same: “I hope that, by meeting with Nathan, other Christian men will pick up the passion to see men come to Christ and will set up men’s groups in their Churches and localities.”

Event details: An evening for men with Nathan Blackaby, Thursday January 25 at 7.30pm at St Michael’s Church, Ormesby St Michael, NR29 3LN. No charge, freewill offerings welcome.
