Latest NWCT ecumenical update is published

The fourth issue of the quarterly ecumenical update for Churches Together in Norfolk and Waveney (NWCT) has been published online

The Ecumenical Update is produced by Dr Ian Watson, County Ecumenical Officer for NWCT, who says: “In July’s edition, as well as finding general information on ecumenism, we have an ecumenical piece by Rt Rev Peter Collins, the Catholic Bishop of East Anglia.   Bishop Peter sits on IARCCUM, which is the: International Anglican-Roman Catholic Commission for Unity and Mission

“We hear from Tracy Mayne, the administrator of Cliff Park Community Church, Gorleston, one of Norfolk’s most successful and well-established LEPs.  Moira Morley, the Secretary of Churches Together in Fakenham and District, says something of their group and activities.  These group are doing a great job and I ask you to pray for them and their ongoing success.

“It also includes an update from the latest meeting of the NWCT Church leaders who agreed, among other things, a new declaration of commitment to Christian unity: Together in Christ, Bound by Love, Serving as One

“The next edition will be published in October.  It would be a great blessing if those across the county who are interested in (or have something challenging to say about) Christian unity contribute to future editions of the ecumenical update.   If you are inspired by the Spirit to contribute, or the desire to simply share your local ecumenical experiences and work, then please email me: County Ecumenical Officer.  The deadline for content is 30 September.”
